I’m a product engineer and founder based in Omaha. I care about doing good work with good people. I turn unclear ideas into clear decisions, working prototypes, and software people can use.

I run Boland Company, an independent product studio for select early-stage teams. I also lead product at Taproot Wizards, building digital payments tooling and experimental Bitcoin-native products.

I work directly with early-stage teams on product direction, R&D, and design through delivery. Most engagements start with a hard product question and end with something concrete: a decision, a prototype, or a shipped product. A few people I’ve worked with have shared some kind words.

Prior, I built products for Carry, Fold, and Hy-Vee.

I’ve also been lucky enough to co-found, advise, and lead at companies including AE Studio, Bitcoin Layers, BlockEarner, Corteva, Iron Piñata, SmartLocker, Swiss EP, and The New Digital School.
